The city of Nottingham may be compact, but it has long been home to a diverse range of manufacturers, from traditional makers of cricket bats to cutting-edge specialists in electronics, engineering, and advanced materials.

The Nottingham Manufacturing Network meets regularly at a Nottingham city location, bringing together manufacturers of all sizes and sectors to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore opportunities for collaboration and growth across the region.

These meetings provide a trusted space for open discussion, practical insight, and peer support, helping businesses stay informed and connected to the wider East Midlands manufacturing community.

In addition, East Midlands Manufacturing Network members are invited to host meetings at their own sites, providing the chance to showcase their operations and best practice to peers from across the region.

The Nottingham Manufacturing Network forms part of the umbrella East Midlands Manufacturing Network which is led by East Midlands Chamber. This is our summer network meeting and we are pleased to be bringing together our Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Networks to collaborate and share common experiences and solutions at NTU’s Brackenhurst Campus.

Do I qualify?

Participation in the Network is free and open to manufacturers of any size. The only criteria for joining are that:

  • Your business operates within the East Midlands Chamber region, encompassing Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire
  • Your business makes something
  • You are a senior manager or leader or future leader in a business
